Pit Orchestra
Pit Orchestra accompanies the theater performers in the high school’s spring musical. Pit orchestra is an audition only group that contains elements from traditional orchestra, band and jazz band. Pit orchestra auditions are typically held in early winter and the orchestra meets two times per week for rehearsal and for daily rehearsals the week prior to the show. Also, student musicians are required at all 5-7 performances of the spring musical. This is an excellent opportunity for dedicated young musicians.
